As you probably know I recently had a solo exhibition at Mercury 20 Gallery in Oakland. Oh what a thrill that was. It was such a joy to experience my recent paintings all together in the beautiful gallery. Although the show has come down a lovely article about my exhibition came up. Recently THE DAILY CALIFORNIAN published an article  "Artists Andrea Brewster, Tara Esperanza zoom into neglected wonders of nature" by Amanda Ayano Hayami in the Visual Arts section. 

In conjunction with my exhibition another local artist,  Andrea Brewster was showing in the back half of Mercury 20 Gallery. The author managed to connect and find the common language in our works. Amanda organically connected our unique works of different mediums by spending time in the gallery and speaking with each of us independantly. She successfully wove together our works and the article is well written with an insightful perspective. Although the exhibition is over it is still a great read. You can read the full article here

As for the Publication, I am absolutely honored and thrilled to be included in the summer edition of ART SEEN MAGAZINE. Ironically the same painting image that Amanda selected from my exhibition THE SUCCULENT GARDEN for her article was selected to be featured in this magazine as well. The magazine is curated by Gita Joshi of The Curators Salon Podcast and platform. Gita is based in London and is also the author of several books. ART SEEN MAGAZINE is available in the U.S. Click here to buy. 
Gita Joshi wrote a comprehinsive and perceptive article about me and my work. I am the 2nd artist featured in the magazine and it is a magazine full of incredible artists from around the globe. WOW! What an honor! It is truly awesome to be included in this publication. I recommend any art lover to get a copy.
